Robotic Arm Assisted Surgery

In robotic arm assisted surgery the surgeon plans the operation in 3D by the use of CT scanning.  The MAKO robotic arm then ensures that the surgeon carries out the procedure precisely to the plan. Studies have shown that patients undergoing robotic arm surgery recover quicker, have less pain and lower rates of complications such as dislocation.
